SOUND OF CANCER SONG FEATURED IN AWARD-WINNING FEATURE FILM, "IN MY POCKET"!

The song, "In My Pocket," written by Dennis Morehouse and Alexx Calise of Sound of Cancer is being featured in the film of the same name starring Gregory Smith (Everwood, Small Soldiers) and Brendan Sexton III (The Runaways, Welcome to the Dollhouse). The film will be shown tomorrow at the FirstGlance Hollywood 10 Film Festival. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online.

IN MY POCKET SCREENING

The movie, "In My Pocket," which features the track of the same name written by Alexx Calise and Dennis Morehouse (of Sound of Cancer) will be screening on Saturday, April 10 during the FirstGlance Film Fest in Hollywood, CA. Tickets are $10, and can be purchased online. The movie features Gregory Smith (Everwood, Small Soldiers) and Brendan Sexton III (The Runaways, Welcome to the Dollhouse).

AC has just been nominated in 3 different categories for the 2009 Effigy Awards on Meermusic.com's "Fame Games" Radio Show! There are 5 Nominees per category, and each has been selected based on votes, review scores and plays. Category winners will be selected by Meer Music's Expert Panel, and will be announced at the end of the month (and during the live shows which will air on Monday, January 18th, and Saturday, January 30th, 2009).

AC's 2nd album, and her debut album with Sound of Cancer are now scheduled for release in early February as both projects are still recording. The albums will be available for download/purchase at Alexxcalise.com, Soundofcancer.com and CDBaby immediately upon completion.

Alexx's article, "How to Create Your Own Career" was just featured in L2P Magazine's (formerly known as Singer & Musician) Quarterly Issue.
